Well now in a interview with Shade 45‘s Sway in the Morning Joe Budden spoke on what happened during the confrontation and why he decided to confront consequence and his wife.

“I gave him the opportunity to say anything he or his wife had to say to me. … I just wanted to see what was up with him,” he expressed. ”I wouldn’t have taken it very far at all, where we were. That’s just not smart. But I’m prepared to take care of it.”
