Kendrick Lamar’s Advice
Kendrick Lamar who was honored with the award “Lyricist Of The Year” at BET Hip-Hop Awards talked about why doesn’t he smoke weed. The interview was done by WPGC’s Mr.Peter Parker.
He wants to remind his fans that you only need to spend a little bit of effort to achieve what you want. According to his own perspective, his city may have several problems and troubles but he is still lucky to attain his current status that most people don’t have.
In his own belief, anything is possible. His brother’s friend who attended the same high school is seeking for advice. He always give this advice to them “Anything is possible, it does not matter where you are, even if you are living in Africa.” You could be very unlucky – living in Africa where you don’t go to school or your family does not have anything to eat and any luxuries, then you will say that you want to stop studying in Compton because you are thinking that you can’t. Kendrick Lamar believed that it is a foolish excuse.
Kendrick claimed that he used to smoke but he never became addicted into it. A lot of people became dependent to it, they always wake up with a bad mood while Kendrick never had a problem when he smoked weed.
