Mr. Melody is no stranger to music. His musical roots are vast and his melodic library reaches far. Mr. Melody was born in the states, but he spent many of his formidable years in Jamaica where the sounds of Alton Ellis, Dennis Brown and Gregory Isaacs echoed in the air establishing the musical palette for the future hit-maker. The energy and experiences from his childhood are his reference point for his musical creativity and the international sound that he has developed.
His music career began in a unconventional manner. What began as a dare became the driving force for his approach to writing and performing music. Never backing down from a challenge, Mr. Melody grabbed the mic and forged the groundwork for his musical career.
