HipHopStories.net: Mark Battles

CHICAGO, IL –Fresh face in the hip-hop industry Mark Battles from Indianapolis, his plan for success in this industry is to expand his brand Fly America and “take it as far as possible.” Officially launching his career in 2005, Mark describes his own style as not only “modernized hip hop” but also “the essence of real hip hop.” With influences such as Eminem, Tupac, Lil’ Wayne, LL Cool J, Big Pun, and Drake, Mark aspires to deliver music that people can not only relate to, but also appreciate.
With the release of his first mix-tape Good Mornin’ America on DatPiff.com, listeners agree that this is a “dope” production and positive addition to the spectrum of hip hop. The growing number of over 80,000 views on his single “Last Night,” his overnight success is within arms reach. As views on the mix-tape continue to amplify, Mark Battles plans to transfer his talents over to the radio and continue to promote the success of his brand.

Prominent DJ Greg Street of Atlanta’s V103 Radio station broke the single this past week. Battles mass appeal has reached a number of major artists in the industry including an upcoming collab with Dom Kennedy, mentions by Mac Miller and mentions throughout the world including London and France.
