The Real Rick Ross Threatening To Stop Release of "Teflon Don"

by Justin T. Stewart June 3, 2010, 11:18am

No longer wanting to be titled as "The Real Rick Ross", "Freeway" Ricky Ross is now taking things one step further on the path to reclaiming his name from the rapper.

Following a lawsuit, accusing the rapper, along with Def Jam and Universal Records, of profiting off his name without his consent, "Freeway" is now threatening to put a hold on Ross' upcoming album Teflon Don, which is scheduled for release on July 6.

A representative for "The Real Rick Ross" spoke with AllHipHop to assure the fact that these actions are far from being some type of marketing plot.

"Simple as that. This is not a publicity stunt, a game or a hoax, to sell some Rick Ross albums, as some have suggested. In fact, [Freeway] Rick Ross intends to halt the release of any Summer 2010 'Rick Ross' album."

Hmmm...Bill Roberts, or William Roberts, presents Teflon Don???

Unlike the rapper Freeway, the rapper known as Rick Ross, according to Ricky Ross, ever paid any type of visit or gave him any sort of credit after deciding to utilize his name in his path to success in Hip-Hop.

Guess it's time for Ross to "pay what you owe".
